OPPORTUNITIES

We are recruiting new researchers to our lab

The Ekenga Research Group provides numerous opportunities for training in population health research. Given the transdisciplinary nature of our work, we believe that there are many benefits to a collaborative environment that includes members of different backgrounds and experiences. We strive to maintain a positive, supportive environment for all group members.

Training occurs through weekly research group meetings and is concentrated into three inter-related areas: (I) epidemiology methods and application; (II) mixed methods; and (III) communicating research to policymakers and the public. Former research group members are pursuing careers in academia, industry, government labs, medicine, and public health agencies.

Interested students and fellows from any institution are encouraged to contact Dr. Ekenga. Proficiency with a quantitative (SAS, STATA, R, or other) and/or qualitative (NVivo, Atlas.ti, or other) analysis package is preferred.

Prospective PhD applicants and postdoctoral researchers are encouraged to contact Dr. Ekenga.
